Treat Weak and Brittle Nails with Appearex® (2.5 mg biotin)
Over time, Appearex® will actually transform nails from the inside out. Clinical studies have proven that a daily intake of 2.5 mg of biotin, the key ingredient in Appearex®, will stimulate epidermal cells and strengthen keratin in the nail and actually strengthen and improve the quality of brittle nails.
Biotin is directly involved in the metabolism of amino acids found in keratin and is believed to increase the quantity of keratin matrix proteins in the nail. A statistically significant (P<.05) increase in the swelling of nail keratin was demonstrated after 6 months of therapy. 91% of patients with brittle nails experienced improved nail quality. Studies support 2.5 mg of biotin as an effective therapeutic dose.
Dependable Once-a-Day Therapy
Biotin is the only agent proven to have a pharmaceutical effect on nail quality. Appearex® has been well-tolerated in clinical trials. Convenient once-a-day dosing may facilitate better compliance. Clinically noticeable improvement occurs within 3 to 6 months. Some patients see improvement within as little as 1 month.
